The Maserati Quattroporte will be presented at the Detroit Motor Show and will go on sale during 2013. The engines will be a V6 and a V8, both produced in Maranello by Ferrari. The 3.0-liter V6 engine delivers 410 hp, it will be combined with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel-drive. In the first case, the Quattroporte accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 s, reaching a top speed of 285 km/h, in the second case it accelerates in 4.9 s and reach a top speed of 284 km/h. The 3.8-liter V8 delivers 530 hp thanks to turbocharging. The V8 version, available only with rear-wheel drive, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 307 km/h. Both engines are mated as standard with the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The frame is made of aluminum, so it should be lighter than the current Quattroporte.

Il sei cilindri 3.0 litri eroga 410 CV, sarà abbinato alla trazione posteriore o integrale. Nel primo caso, la Quattroporte col V6 scatta da 0 a 100 km/h in 5,1 s raggiungendo i 285 km/h di velocità massima, nel secondo lo scatto viene coperto in 4,9 s e la punta velocistica è pari a 284 km/h. Il V8 3.8 litri eroga 530 CV grazie alla sovralimentazione. La versione a otto cilindri, disponibile con la sola trazione posteriore, scatta da 0 a 100 km/h in 4,7 s, toccando i 307 km/h di velocità massima. Su entrambe le motorizzazioni viene offerto di serie il cambio automatico a otto marce prodotto dalla ZF. Il telaio è di alluminio, quindi dovrebbe essere più leggera della Quattroporte attuale.
